Refined Designs was founded by Desmond Opoku. A seasoned manufacturer and pioneer in the industry since 1987.
Every one of our pieces are Canadian manufactured. Refined Designs is comprehensive and exports internationally offering the same premium quality furniture and services overseas as we do local.

Desmond has worked alongside giants such as Sealy, King coil and National Furniture. He has also co-founded companies in recent years of which are thriving today as a result of Desmond’s extensive knowledge and expertise in premium upholstery.
Desmond’s masterpieces have been showcased in the 2009 and 2010 issues of -House and Home Magazine and has since sparked attention internationally. Receiving accolades from current hotel and casino clientele as well as other prestigious establishments throughout Canada.
